1986 accord DX idle problem

1986 accord DX idle problem
my car is acting all wierd.
it is a manual, and for some reason my idle is at 2.5-3k.
if i go to turn it down, i cant even make it past 2 without it shutting off.
and if its below 2.5 when i make any stop, or turn it will shut off unless i give it gas.
any one know what might be wrong?
