The 88 Accord that I just bought does not have any of the hoses from the air cleaner hooked up. Specifically from the hot air duct and the air control diaphragm. I want to get this hooked allback up, but the Haynes manual does not really tell you where they all go. I am pretty sure that the air control diaphragm hooks up to some sort of check valve, and then to an air intake sensor, but it branches off, and I am not sure where it goes.Does it conntect to the carb somehow? If someone could perhaps post a picture that shows where these hoses are routed to, that would be great! Thanks in advance.

 

If you browse hondapartsdeals.com, they have parts blowups of all the replacement parts. That should give you an idea of where the hoses attach.

Also look for the same type of car on Ebay or even a google image search might help you out.

Thanks for the picture, it helps alot, my question is where the hoses&amp\\;nbsp\\;indicated #6 and #11 in in the picture connect to?&amp\\;nbsp\\; I looked on the website for a pic of the carb, but it did not show hose placement.

 

Those parts drawings aren'tthe best to figure that out. Maybe there's one for crankcase vents or fuel system or ???

Is the emmissions sticker still on the underside of the hood? That's supposed to show the hose connections.
