1990 Accord LX Injectors???
I recently installed a new battery due to the old one being bad. Also put in a new IACV as sugested by a shop i took the car to. (reason it was dieing while driving). Now the car won't start. Today A friend took the fuel injectors off because he believes they are either bad or plugged. The car cranks but won't start. after he took them off and saw they had a lot of carbon build up around them he cleaned them off (we didn't have any fuel injector cleaner) with a rag. Put everything back after checking to make sure fuel was getting to the injectors. After he put them back on the car, the car fired up right away. I drove it for about 20 minutes (12 miles) and shut the car off. Went to check and make sure it would start about 1 hour later, and I'm back to it not starting, but cranking. What could it be? Could the injectors be bad, or clogged?

Are all of the maintenance items up to date (spark plugs, distributor cap, distributor rotor)? Check that all ends of both battery cables are clean and secure.
You can send the injectors off to be cleaned an tested. That may not be the source of your problem and may be a waste of money. I would diagnose first.
No starts come from a lack of spark or lack of fuel. Read through the fax at www.tegger.com for more info.
If you have a timing light, hook it up to each wire to see if enough spark is generated to flash the light.
The fuel supply is trickier to diagnose. If the car starts up by spraying starting fluid into the throttle body, then that would indicate a fuel delivery problem.
