Default 1991 accord distributor r&r

HYey guys, I have my new distributer , and would like to know which cylinder is #1. And also , do you have any tips for this.

Cylinder No. 1 is on the end opposite the distributor. They are numbered sequentially 1-4 from driver's side to pax side.

The distributor key fits the camshaft only one way, however it is not hard to make a mistake as the width difference of the keyway is very small. If there is any resistance to installing the key into the camshaft keyway, rotate 180 deg. and try again.

Replace the oring on the end of the distributor drive. Your new distributor should have a new oring.
