That is a pretty open-ended question.

How much money do you want to spend? What are you thinking about doing on your car? Is your accord an automatic or manual transmission?

Putting a H22 head or H23 head on your engine block may be a lot of work. I don't know what timing belt you would need. I doubt the head gaskets are identical between the two engines, so some modifications would need to be done.

If you want to increase HP, then I would say the H22 engine is your best shot. I know the mounts are the same, so no modifications have to be done there. You will still have to do some homework. There are a lot of guides and information on the web for a H22 swap. Just search a bit.

Check out car-part.com to search for H22 engines. This site searches junkyards by price or distance. Then you will have an idea on the cost of the engine. Just search for a 93 prelude engine. I think that the engine that came with a manual transmission had more HP.

You should search the engine and internal section or post questions. This forum is more for general troubleshooting.

Just do your homework and ask questions on here or other sites before you jump into this.

Does it have to "look" stock for tech inspection at the race? If so, a DOHC engine in a car that was only ever sold with SOHC, would probably put you into a different class. Check on the rules.

LOL...put a 200 shot of NOS, you'll only race it once, but it will be a hell of a ride!
