Default 1991 accord "limp mode" issue

My accord has 203,800 miles and started acting weird. I have two questions that I'm hoping you all can help with.
1. everytime I start the car and start driving everything is ok, about 10-15 minutes later it goes into this "limp mode" and stays at that speed, about 30-45 seconds later the CEL will come on and it will jump out of "limp mode" and drive fine with CEL on. Any suggestions? I went to checker and Autozone and they do not check codes anymore.
2. The car idles at 200-300 rpms?
