1991 honda accord ex check engine light on

my car runs perfect and no problems, just every ounce in a while the check engine light comes on and does not go off. what should i do to fix it?

you can either read the codes yourself (DIY section) or go to a local autoparts store and many of them will read it for free, then let us know what the code is
