1991 honda accord lx sedan. Heater

MY 1991 HONDA ACCOR LX SEDAN HEATER NOT WORKING. BLOWER WORKS FINE NO HEAT. **** TO CONTROL HOT & COLD TURNS FREELY AND MAY BE STRIPPED. WHAT ELSE SHOULD I CHECK ? THANK-YOU

Pull the **** and see if the shaft of the plastic is broken.

Next check the cable at the heater control valve...is it connected, does it move.
