Recently my wife's 91 Honda Accord EX would not start. I thought it might be the battery. Took the battery and had tested and there was a dead cell. After replacing the battery, the car was still not starting. So it led me to believe that it would be the starter. We took the starter off and took it to the local auto parts store and had it tested. The starter was still in good condition and worked. Starting to think that is it is the ignition starter switch but after reading some things on Google I am not so sure anymore. Any help with this problem would be tremendous. I am new to this forum so please be kind. It you have any questions just ask I will try to answer them to the best of my knowledge. Thank you in advance for your help.

Please create a signature and put your car info in it...then be sure to set the option to display your signature....see mine as an example.

Is this an auto or manual trans car?

Do you have a test light or volt meter? If so, the small wire to the starter (forget the color right now - BLK/WHT ?). When you try to start the car....what is the voltage on this wire?
