Default 1991 Honda Civic Misses under load

My 1991 Honda DX 1.5L misses when I push on gas pedal. More so when it is hot. No codes showing up. Distributor cap and wires ok. My gut is telling me that it is in the Trottle Body, any suggestions? Must air care this beast soon. Any ideas will be gladly accepted thank you.

Are the spark plugs up to date?

You may want to clean the EGR ports. Not sure how the ports are setup on the 91 civic.

@Quaz - My Honda has almost exactly the same problem as yours did. Did anything work?

In the last 2 years he hasn't made another post, so I bet he doesn't come back here often.

So... is your car a 91 Civic? How are your spark plugs or other tune-up items?

It's an 11/94 Civic LX. I have new plugs, ignitor, coil, & fuel filter. Checked air filter. I've been running fuel additives/cleaners. I would try to clean the EGR ports, but my Haynes Repair Manuel says some models aren't equipped with EGR valves/systems and from the picture in the book I can't find anything that looks like it.

11/94 build-date? That would probably make it a 1995 model-year?

I looked at intake manifold & throttle body & didn't see an EGR valve. Not completely familiar with Civic, but maybe it doesn't have EGR.
