1992 accord with automatic transmission

Default 1992 accord with automatic transmission

i have a 1992 accord with automatic transmission that i put a new transmission in yesterday that will not start. it was running before i removed old transmission.when ignition is turned all light come on and starter engages but barley turns flywheel.i removed starter and applied power to it and it turns fine but once installed again it does same thing. battery is @ about 12volts. i have tapped starter with hammer and the same thing happens. if anyone has some info that can help me plz do

Is the ECU ground wire securely attached? On your car, it should be the ground wire that connects to the thermostat housing (lower radiator hose).
