My transmission has been slipping or stuck in 2nd gear, or starts in 4th gear. I replaced the TCM with one I bought on ebay, but the problem continues. with the newer TCM, the shifting is different but still is not working perfect. Sometimes it runs and shifts fine, other times it slips or stays in 2nd gear. I replaced my tcm oki 28100-pxo-731-m1 with an oki 28100-pxo-732. I was told this was interchangeable and should work. Is this correct?

I then tested the lock-up and shifts solenoids and all clicked when I applied the electric test. The shift solenoids did not click as loud as the lock-up solenoid but they did click. I am assuming the solenoids are fine.

I think it must be electrical as sometimes it shifts through all gears and runs fine. Any other suggestions as to next steps or thoughts? The car is an ex model.

One other comment. I just tested the cel codes and am getting numbers 30 and 31. Below are the possibilities for these codes, but I do not know what any of this means. Any help is greatly appreciated.

CEL Codes:
30 P1655 SEAF/SEFA/TMA/TMB Signal Line Failure
30 P1681 A/T FI Signal A Low Input
30 P1682 A/T FI Signal A High Input
31 P1686 A/T FI Signal B Low Input
31 P1687 A/T FI Signal B High Input
