1992 accosd lx,still cant find promblem

Default 1992 accosd lx,still cant find promblem

1992 accord lx,gear selector lights on dash blink and go out mostley park and drive 4,put in drive hardley moves,other gears fine,replaced gear selector switch,adjusted cable,no difference,just got new tcm,put it on,car ran great,started to go out again started car,lights blinking on dash,gear selector solenoid clicking,and it sounds like main relay is clicking like crazy,and car will hardley move in drive.i have spent 300.00 on this so far,we are a poor family,and i cant afford to keep throwing money at this,obama care has cut my hours to 15hrs a week,so they dont have to provide ins.please help thank you!

The Trans Control Module (TCM) and Engine Control Module (ECM) are separate components on this model. Are you sure you replaced the TCM? S light On and D4 light on are same symptom.

See attached TSB to see if symptoms apply to your problem.

If resetting TCM by pulling BackUp fuse (7.5A) in under hood fuse box temporarily fixes problem, then TCM fault is likely despite it's being replaced.

Did you buy a rebuilt or used TCM to replace original?

Default tcm

i changed tcm,unit on right side.i bought rebuilt with lifetime warranty.i did not remove 7.5 fuse untill new one started acting up.when i pulled the fuse it was blown.the company is sending me a new tcm replacement in case it was faulty,im not sure it was,this company gives lifetime warranty,and they bench test them before they are shipped,but i know anything can happen

W/O fuse 24 (7.5A BackUp), the ECM and TCM are not working. This may have caused some of your symptoms. If fuse failure is not caused by TCM, the TCM could be OK.

Stereo is also on fuse 24. Any work or changes to stereo?
