1992 Honda Accord misfiring
I have a 1992 Honda Accord that I bought 6 months ago. The car keeps misfiring in 4th gear and randomly will misfire in 2nd or 3rd gear. I have replaced the spark plugs and wires and the gaskets because there was oil in 2 of the plugs. I made sure there wasn’t any oil remaining in the wells and it fixed the issue for a couple days. I’ve checked the plugs and wells again to see if the oil is back but it’s not (luckily). It’s got me stumped now.
The DIY section is for instructions "how to" do something. Not for posting troubleshooting questions. I'm going to move this over to General Tech where you're more likely to get answers.
New plugs & wires, but what about the distributor cap? I would check the cap & wires by starting the engine cold in complete darkness. Look for any signs of arcing, like blue glow around the cap or wires. Spraying a little water/mist helps make it more visible.
ps...
When you changed the plugs, what did the old ones look like? You can find photos of used plugs with different conditions for example on NGK's website.

I've a '92 now. Prior owned a '93 which developed an intermittent misfire (just changed to synth oil - my bad).
after about 1500 miles it stopped at the side of the road. Admit there was plenty of forewarning.
Towing, repair out of town, etc - kinda pricey.
Oil got into distributor (syn oil in my blame sheet) through the o-ring seal. Replaced distributor at repair shop ... end of problem.
