Default 1992 Honda Accord, A/T Gas Gauge Problem..

I don't know much about cars, But my gas tank was working just fine until the last time I filled it up.. It was a full tank, but the gas gauge doesn't indicate that the tank is full and will only stop a little above halfway underneath the F on the gauge.. Its really annoying me.. I was thinking about having a new fuel pump installed, But not sure as to what the problem really is! Any direction would be helpful

The problem can either be the gauge in the instrument cluster or the fuel sending unit that is in the gas tank, but not where the fuel pump is.

The online manuals thread in the DIY section has a link to a 91 shop manual that will have a procedure to test the gauge.

The sending unit is under a cover in the back of the trunk.
