Default 1993 accord loose power

say I'm driving at 45 mph all of a suden the car will loose power I can push on gas pedal but it as nothing happens the car will do about 20 mph no mater how hard I press the pedal car has 250,000 on it but otherwise runs great
it seems to do it more if it is raining . I have sprayed all connectors under hood with a spray bottle of water including the cap and rotor and plug wires

not giving us a lot of info, but I'd look at distributor function
if it's been getting worse in the last 1000 miles.

O-ring oil leak to dist. caused my '93 to stop at edge of road
when I ignored intermittent total loss of power.
New dist. fixed it. Some $.

Is/does/has the CEL come on at any point while the engine is running?

When was the last tune up?

fuel pump, filter? My exgirlfriend's focus had a pump start to die on a highway in montana and it wouldn't go faster than about 25
edit: 93s didn't come carbureted, right?

When you replaced the cap, was there a new o-ring with it? Wild guess on that one.

Check the connector on the O2, these can become lazy and cause issues without setting a code.
