OK I replaced with new starter, new battery, replaced clutch position think under dash, and disconnected the ignition wiring harness from the key tumbler to rule out the tumbler mechanism itself.. when I turn it to acc position all lights come on, when I turn to start all I hear is a small click or tink under the dash ( not from starter I checked) it seems to be coming from a small metal box under dash??????? Please help I'm tired of push starting my car..... thank you

 

Makes me think possibly an ignition relay, when you turn the key does the fuel pump prime? or is there no signal coming from the ignition to the startr solenoid? have you tried the old turn on the key and bridge the starter with a well insulated screw driver? Has the main fuse blown? does the dash lights come on with the key?

 

It could be the "starter cut relay", a few tests could confirm.
