Default wont turn over suspect clutch safety switch

90 lx 5 speed.265k When i turn the key I get nothing. No soleniod click. The headlights stay on. I found the remains of a button or stop on the floor under the pedal. I have already replaced the stop on the lower switch but I cannot find where this stop or button might have come from. I have power at the starter. Thanks for any help. Tyndall

Do you have power on the small wire going to the starter when you turn the key to the start position? Or are you talking about having power to the red positive battery cable?

Search for Nuj9o6YdO8A on YouTube. This is a video for inspecting the brake light switch which will be similar to the switch on the clutch pedal. You should get a good idea of where the stop is located.
