Default 1993 auto transmission issue HELP!!

I have searched everywhere and haven't seen this problem anywhere. When the car is cold it will shift into all gears normally, but when it warms up it dosen't shift at all. It acts as though it's in neutral. I can turn off the engine and immediately restart it and it shifts normally again for a few minutes and then goes back to nothing. This works when driving it too, I throw it in neutral, turn off the engine, restart it, move on down the road until it happens again, rinse, repeat. I have changed the fluid twice, changed the shift solenoids, and changed the TCU, with no change in results. I am at a total loss as to how to proceed. Any thoughts?

No codes, no D4 light flashing, no obvious problem that can see. It does make a slight whirring noise when the car is idling though.

This gen doesn't have a good rep for the TCU. Can you pull the TCU and open it up and look for "bad spots" on the board?

I've already changed the TCU and replaced it with another tested unit, it did the same thing with the old TCU and the new one. I think it might be trashed. I've heard that something in the tranny can fly apart and clog the shift solenoid flow with debris . I am afraid this might be the case here.

Did you open up the TCU and look?

Dannyvan, have you gone through the checks that Poorman suggested with the same result?

Did you replace the TCU like K.Hatfield did and with the same result?
