1993 Honda Accord several issues
The car has 260,000 miles on it. Ran great and drove great. The back motor mount needs replaced and is almost broke off. The car shifts card sometimes but I was told it was normal in these cars. But lately I’ve been having issues.
1. When taking off from a complete stop the car will sputter until you give it more gas but is fine after about a second or two.
2. Every time I start the car the belt will squeal
3. Sometimes when starting the car it’ll slow down and even stutter when starting if it has sat for a while or overnight.
4. Sometimes the car will rev high before it shifts but will shift immediately if you hit a bump, and very rarely it the car will downshift randomly around the 1-3 gears then shift back up immediately. Also on the interstate if you floor it the car will almost “jump” and feel like it’s shifting and it’ll shoot forward and you can go fast. If that makes sense.
3. The brake pedal has a lot of leeway before it actually hits pressure and the brakes fully work. Has fluid in it.
4. Whenever it rains the brake light thing on the back of the car comes on even though no lights are out.

Just a couple ideas for you to check...
How are the tune-up things like spark plugs etc.?
Broken rear mount can cause the hard shifting & maybe contribute to some of the other stuff.
2. Belt gets hard & slippery from age & heat - even though its not cracked or falling apart.
3. Clean the throttle body bore & throttle plate? At least have a look for oily crud all over them. Then set the "base" idle.
4. I'm not hardly an auto-trans expert... Fluid level OK? How fresh is the fluid? What kind of fluid? Maybe something with adjusting the cable from throttle to transmission?
3. Sounds like air in the hydraulic system. Bleed the brakes.
4. What's the "brake light thing"? Warning lamp for burned out bulb? Look at taillight gaskets allowing rainwater into the lamp clusters?
