I'm with Redbull....check the pressures (high and low) to be sure.

Then look into the heater control valve and also look at the blend door adjustment......last and a bit of a reach, the shaft on the **** seems to break pretty often......pull it and verify it is not broken.

I can't thank you enough for all the help and support from you guys.

So I checked, when I turn the AC on, both fans come and compressor does engage and run too.

I checked the position of the heater hose lever, it does change position if I move the temperature **** to cold or hot vice versa. Valve movement is in counter clockwise if I use AC and clockwise if I am using heat settings.

Please see the pict below from the 'RedBull-1' pictures:

Anyway I can get a pict of blend door adjustment? How much pressure needs to be there in High and Low side? Also, I need those manifold blue gauges, right? If so, I can rent it from Autozone, right?

Call your parts store and ask if they have a R134a manifold to rent.

The pressures depend on the outside temp and the humidity.

Here is a post I made a few years ago about this.

How much oil is in the system?

Also how much R134a did you add?

Here is how the test should be run:

Avoid direct sunlight (park in the shade).
Open Hood
Open front doors
Set temperature to max cool
Switch vent to recirculate
Turn on A/C
Turn blower to MAX
Run engine at 1500 rpm.
No driver or passenger in vehicle (you can increase the rpm at the throttle plate. Search zUpXgAJ1gjU on YouTube. At 4min 30 seconds he shows how to do this).

Run a/c for 10 minutes.

Tell us
1. The high pressure
2. The low side pressure
3. The temperature blowing out of the vents in the car. You will need a thermometer to do this.

Like I have said previously can't thank you enough to you guys for helping out.

Please don't take me wrong usually if I search, I will come up with 40-50 returns but out of which maybe 2-3 will post back results of troubleshooting and final resolution(if any?).

Thanks again for posting the procedure, as always I am going to try and follow the instructions and will get back with the results.

In the meantime, if I need to check something else, please feel free to advise.

For giggles, pop the "clamp" off the valve - the one that holds the cable to the heater valve. Manually move the lever on the valve to the closed position as noted in the info posted by redbull.....see what you have?

Here is another thing, so today in the morning weather was kinda nice outside.

I again, ran the fan while temperature **** was at the coldest position.

It's throwing just fine air and not SUPER hot as I mentioned in my previous post.

So it feels like valve movement is just fine, I still have to follow the advice of PAHonda.

On a cool am - turn the car on and let it run with the ac off and the **** to cold. Once it gets to op temp, check the temp of the air coming out of the vents compared to outside temp.

Thanks 'poorman'.

I tried your idea and temperature remained almost the same as outside.

It rules out the idea of a bad valve, going to rent the gauges and test the pressures.

when you see your high and low side pressures the same, or very close, (which i'm betting will be the case)...start pricing out a compressor, and a receiver/drier.
