1994 Honda Accord EX AT Manual Swap
I Have a question if I can use a 6th gen accord transmission, linkage , pedals, etc. on my 5th gen accord for a manual swap, Either was gonna do it myself or have a shop do it, need to know if the all the components of the 6th gen are compatible. thank you.

We get a lot of questions about AT to MT swaps. It is expensive especially for a 94 accord. Do some shopping for a 94 wagon with a MT just to find out the cost to just buy a MT wagon. I know wagons are rare, so a MT may be harder to source.
The swap isn't as straight-forward as you'd expect. You'd need the clutch pedal and hydraulics swapped over, the ECU for a manual trans accord, and the transmission. I'm pretty sure the transmission motor mount bracket needs to be welded to the frame as the automatic is in a different location. You'd also need to find out if the CV joints are the same spline pattern and length on the 6th gen transmission vs the 5th gen. There are other items like the hydraulic lines, etc that you also have to consider. IMO, the cost to swap isn't worth is, but anything is possible if you want to spend the money on the swap.
