Default 1995 Accord EX :D

Hey, im 17 and I just bought a used 1995 Honda Accord EX 2.2L 5-speed. It's my first car, and so far I am loving it. I just have a quick question,
1. My fuel gauge reads about 1/4 full, but I just topped it off yesterday. And it hasn't changed since. Is there a fuse I should check?
I looked around and I think it may be the float or the fuel level sending unit, but I'm not to sure which I should replace, and how to. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

First, congratulations on your first new car. I had a 1994 Accord that I sold to a relative when it had 175,000 miles, and now it's still in the family and is up near 225,000.

It does sound like the float has gone bad. Fortunately, if my memory is correct, you don't have to remove the tank to change it. Post this in the general tech forum and you'll get a pretty quick response. I don't think I've ever waited more than 24 hours for an answer.

Welcome to HAF.

For the gauge there are a few things you can try......clean the gound? Test the gauge?

In General Tech there is a sticky at the top, Common DIY Threads.....in that there is a link to a manual you can download - for free - it will help you with the location of the ground and how to test the gauge.
