1995 accord LX 2.2 EGR valve ticking noise
I dont think this is normal because Ive never heard any other Honda do this. But when I get my idle up to about 1700 or so I hear the EGR valve ticking. I know its the EGR because I can actually feel it ticking if I hold it. I swapped it out with one from a used parts place and that one did the same thing. Its like the solenoid valve inside it is opening and shutting rapidly instead of just staying open when needed. I was hoping someone else has had this and found a fix. Thanks again for the help and God Bless.

RE: 1995 accord LX 2.2 EGR valve ticking noise
Is the valve on the cylinder head ticking, or solenoid/vacuum valves on the driver's side fender?
There is no solenoid on the valve, it is just a lift sensor. The valve is controlled by a vacuum. Check that the vacuum hoses leading to those two valves are in good shape.
