I have a 97 Accord lx 2 door, 2.2 sohc. I plan on doing a rear disk conversion. The doner car is a 95 V6 Accord. Will the front brakes fit on my car, as i would like to clean everything up nice before installing. What is the difference between the V6 front brakes and and the ones on the lx 2 door other then the calipers. Are the front rotors a different diameter.

 

The 95-97 V6 accord should almost be considered a different car compared to the 94-97 4-cylinders.

Before you even start this conversion, check to see if your LX tire/rim will fit on the V6 accord.

I am almost positive that the rotors and calipers are bigger. I am not even sure if the knuckle is the same. I would do some homework before you start tearing into this.

I would look up the OEM part numbers for each item you are swapping on both vehicles. In the common DIY thread on top of the gen tech help forum, there is a link to a writeup on parts compatibility.
