Default Brakes/Brakes Fluid

My brake light and theABS light were on for more than a amonth in my car. Then I check the brake fluid and It was bone dry. It didn't have one drop, as soon as I filled up the brake fluid reservour, both lights turned off. everything was fine for a couple of weeks, but yesterday my brakes were pretty much failing completly. I was stepping on the brake pedal all the way and the car still wouldn't stop fast or normal. I'm not sure what to do? what's happened, whats the solution? I doubt brake pads are bad, they are less than 2 years old, but I don't use my car too much. any help. thanks

Default RE: Brakes/Brakes Fluid

check the system for leaks, it might also be that you have air in the system
