1995 Honda Accord LX 2.7L

Default 1995 Honda Accord LX 2.7L

does the front wheel bearings need to be removed to put new rotors on this specific 1995 Honda Accord?

The OEM setup has the hub directly contacting the tire and the rotor is on the other side. If you pull the tire and this is the setup, then you have to pull the hub/bearing. In theory it is easy, where you remove the 4 bolts in the back and the hub/bearing should pull out of the knuckle with the rotor attached to the hub.

In practice, the bearing gets stuck in the knuckle and you have to use something like a slide hammer or a press setup to get the bearing to come loose. There are some youtube videos showing how to remove.

There are also rotor over the hub conversions that make future brake jobs much easier with the normal setup.

thanks! so would you know how many hours it should be billed to put new front Rotors/Pads and switch out the calipers.

I don't know the hours. Just call a shop for a quote on hours. Most shops use the same source to determine the hours.
