I have a 2005 Accord. 4 cyl 5 speed. It has some kind of super powerful clutch in it. It has to be babied or else the tires squeak when you shift gears, occasionally it will even do it when down shifting on freeway from 5 to 4th gear.
If this is just hard on the tires I can easily live with babying it and the occasionally squeak when I forget. but it it is harming other things I need to get it fixed.

 

Something doesn't sound right; my 2006 TL has significantly more power, is virtually the same size and weight, and I need to try really hard to chirp the tires. Maybe the issue isn't your clutch but your tires.
