Hi

My honda's check engine light came on about a month ago. I checked the code and it clearly read code 12. I've since replaced my EGR valve, and after clearing the codes the light came back on and read code 12 again. I've also been getting really terrible gas milage lately. My honda used to get ~30mpg and now it's getting 20 or less.

I'm not quite sure what to do next...I just moved across the country (to Baltimore) and I don't know any mechanics here.

also, I just noticed today that I can operate my power windows when my car is turned off... Don't know if that's related.

I'd really appreciate any advice on what to do next.. I'm a bit at my wits end.

Suggest you download the shop manual, if you have replaced the valve then there is something in the vac lines or the wires.....testing is key or you might throw many $'s at it.
