Hi, I have a automatic Honda Accord Wagon LX and its stuck in lag mode, where it wont rev over 2 grand, we just bought it and the previous owner said that the ground wire for the distributor was disconnected and they fixed it but it will go in and out of lag mode. I was wondering should we start my replacing the wire harness for the distributor and buy a new distributor?

 

Start by testing for engine and transmission codes. The common diy thread on top of the gen tech help forum has a link on how to get CEL codes. Post the codes on here, then you can start narrowing down the causes.
