Default 1996 Honda Accord LXI V-6 -going from 205/60/15 to 205/65/15

Subject: 1996 Honda Accord LXI V-6 -going from 205/60/15 to 205/65/15

The normal tire size reccomended is 205/60/15 for my 1996 Honda Accord LXI-V6. ( I think)

Does ANYONE know of any problem with going with a bigger size tire of 205/65/15?

It will be a Perelli P4Four Seaon tire.

Thanks Dave in Kansas[/align]

Your speedo will be off by 1.2%. So when it says your going 60mph, you will actually be going 60.7mph.

Not a big deal at all.

Thanks for the reply.

Can it hurt the car or do you know if that tires will fit OK. I know there is space for turns and general clearence?

How much more could in size. What about 205/70/15.

I'm not positive how much bigger you could fit, I would think you could fit 70, but dont quote me on it. No there arent any other problems as long as it doesnt rub, speedo is the only thing.
