Yes, it is a US model. I am baffled as to why it has a roof-mounted switch and does not have the switch next to the cruise control as all other documentation I have seen indicates. Tonight I am going to remove the cruise-control switch and see if there is a wiring harness for the non-existent sunroof switch. If it is there, the manual you supplied shows how to short it close. If it does not exist, then I need to remove the headliner and short the motor itself so it closes.

Can you take some pictures? Maybe the previous owner did some custom work?

If you want, private message (PM) me your VIN and I can see if it can possibly tell me anything more.

Sorry for the delay on this.

I have since learned that this sunroof is an aftermarket sunroof. no idea who made it. I am still trying to short the wires closed, but all I do is just blow the fuse. Attached is an image of the wires if anyone would like to take a guess.

There could be a short in the motor causing the fuse(s) to blow.

I'd do a bit of investigation.....got a volt meter?

Two black should be ground at all times....verify both

One should be "hot" with key on or car running....verify but I'd start with the red one.

Then verify the other two are "open"/zero- or very small amount- resistance to ground. If so, one of those two is for "open" and the other should be for "close".

So jump the "hot" with key on or car running to one of the "other" two. Then try juming the other one of the two to the hot wire.

best I've got on this......would be nice to see the "rest" of the switch to maybe figure out what contacts it os closing in different settings.
