Default 1997 Accord 2.2 lx question (s)

It's tax time and general maintenance time for the accord,yay!!!

I did the transmission "flush" at home about 2 years ago with lubegard red and Castrol ATF for hondas/Toyota with fantastic results (not immediate results, but great results after sometime) and am going to drop another 3 quarts and do it again soon...prob sticking with the castrol,but the royal purple ATF looks good, does anyone here run it,opinions,etc....?

Also siphining out a few ounces (as much as I can) of power steering fluid and replacing with royal purple brand....again,any feedback?

Using lubegard in the white bottle to "flush" the engine and replacing with Mobil 1 high mileage (switching from maxlife) ,again,opinions on Mobil 1 and Royal Purple (high mileage) HMX ,as the price isn't to much off the Mobil 1.

Lastly, it is technically time to change waterpump and the timing belt, but I have no tapping/smacking from belt or leaks from waterpump....do I wait,or just fork out the $500?

All this is just extra stuff really and I'm not having any issues,but I'm a Sucker for preventive maintenance

Thanks in advance for any advice and for taking the time to read...

I personally just use OE fluids when it come to the trans and PS. If you do the PS fluid, empty the res and use some cleaner - brake ?- to be sure the screen at the bottom is cleaned out.......dump the old fluid and at least "back wash" the screen with brake cleaner before going back in with fresh fluid.

If the "timing belt job" is do then, yes spring for that BEFORE an issue comes up.

An old car, just like mine. I stay with the fluids that have worked. Nothing new.
Think on why these old seals should have to adapt to a new fluid chemistry;
maybe setting yourself up for leaks or issues. $.02, but have fun.
