Default 1997 Accord Broken Distributor Bracket

While replacing the distributor on my 97 Accord 2.2 SOHC, the bracket (where the top bolt threads in) broke off. The dealership had told me that the bracket is made with the head so the only way I can buy another is from a junk yard (no luck at any of my local ones either) But I am not a mechanic in any way, and am hesitant to remove the camshafts to replace the part to begin with. Any advice would be helpful. (I've seen people say that it's fine with the 2 bottom bolts but I can see that springing a leak very easily)

The two lower bolts should be adequate to retain the distributor. Let someone w/ experience tighten.

Alternatively, you might get an expert welder to weld the lug back to head. Last resort in case two bolts don't hold.

good luck
