Default 1997 Accord LX 4cyl signals help

Hi, my friend has a '97 Accord with the following issues and I'm trying to fix it for him if I can..
1. When depressing the brakes, the turn signals do not work.
2. When the headlights are on, using the turn signals activates the emergency lights instead.

Sorry, I've never worked on an Accord before so any links to tutorials included in your help would be much appreciated.

Thanks =)

Those are some strange problems as a whole. I would check that the grounding points for the brake circuits are clean and tight. Just unbolt them clean them with a wire brush, then tighten them down with some dielectric grease. G402/G404/G405 is what you want to check.

In the DIY section, there is a spooner link I posted that has a 94 CD7/CD5 shop manual to download. The wiring diagram is in the electrical section for the brake system and it also shows where those grounds are located under Wire Harness and Ground locations in that electrical section.
