Check my writeup in DIY about setting the base idle. Some things that can affect that are vacuum leaks, air in the cooling system, etc. as listed in that post.
With age & mileage, a lot of the things you replaced might have been overdue normal maintenance, so maybe not wasted money/effort.

Hello, I have a 1997 accord se ,automatic, 4 cyclinder. Ok my problem is my accord turnover but wont stay on.....this dosent happen all the time. And sometimes its starts but hesitates until I put my foot on the gas. I just replaced the fuel filter 2 days ago and thought this solved the issue... still havin the problem..and in my previous post I replaced the spark plug wires, spark plugs, cap , rotor ,timing belt, water pump, radiatior...checked and theres no air in the cooling system. Checked all fuses and there fine. Also had a friend hook up his odb or obd to the computer( behind the ash tray) and theres no codes. My next step is to clean the iavc and throttle body.this was quoted on my last post so I will take any advice at this time. If anybody reads this and they had the same issue please chime inn and leave advice. And anyboby please advise on what I should do next
Thanks in advance
Fred
