1997 Accord V6 intermittant hestation
Wow...Teabagging!.....I hope it's the coil...The beard in your pic looks lit it would be a bit harsh!!!!!!!..Well I'm off to Advance Auto to ORDER a coil since no one around here (Columbus, OH) seems to have one in stock!!
especially with an 8000 lb. luckdragon on line!!! LOL
Look at the avitar ...... now that's a mental picture worth a thousand words ..... so is that look on your face right now!!!

UPDATE!!!!!!!! Found a coil across town late yesterday (Auto Zone $67.99)and installed this morning...I think the intent Honda had for R&R of this coil was to remove the bracket from the engine and then the coil assy from the bracket...That's how I did it anyway..I'd have to say that the OBSURD AMOUNT OF TORQUE it took to remove the 10mm bolts that hold the coil to the bracket was a bit frustrating, but I got them out...Coil is in and two15 minutedrives today since the coil installationand no problems with the tach or hesitation...The acceleration actually seems a bit better, but it could be an illusion since I'm overanlyzing everthing the car does since I just changed a part...Thanks for the help to all!! Now a freshfor the next issue that the manual has no mention of!!!
