1997 Honda Accord fuel injector problem
Let me give you a little bit of history first... recently i changed the water pump which of course ment taking off the timing belt... all that went well as far as i could tell.... though i thought at first I had got the timing off somehow cause when i went to start the car it would not start... so after going over and over the timing belt i decided to spray starter fluid into the throttle body to see if it would fire... so i did... and it tried to start right away.. even a few times i have gotten it to start with the starter fluid and also without it for around 10 minutes it would drive great in the yard riding around and idle fine.. no missing..etc.... then it would just die again and would not start back up again.
if i stray more starter fluid in it then it attempts to start again... there seems to be gas reaching the fuel rail just fine... but as far as i can tell my injectors all of them are not spraying no gas out cause i removed all of them and did not see no gas on the end that goes into the intake... I have ran out of ideals of what could be going on.... anyone have an ideal it would sure be appreicated.... thought it might be the main relay but from what i understand no gas will come though the lines at all if it goes out. and there is gas coming out at the fuel rail

Sorry, must have had too many windows open....now someone else is prob wondering why I posted what I did.....eek
First, confirm the year of the car we are working on, please. One place it is listed as a 92 and here it is a 97.
Since the 92 and 97 are a bit different I can't get into too many details.
You say "there seems to be gas" to the injectors, how did you come to this?
When you spray starting fluid into it, are you opening the butterfly in the tb and spraying?
One wire to the injector is a ground, the other will be power. With a volt meter confirm that you have ground and power to the injector(s).

Well, please do tell the end of the story? It helps everyone learn, just think of the next person that is in the same sit and reads this and it is a dead end.

it was a simple problem that was hard to figure out, which was you no the fuel injector resistor bolted to the frame on the drivers side, well somehow i must of snapped the connection just lose enough when removing the timing belt cover even though you could not tell it was even lose by looking at it.... today i touched the connection and was just messing with it and heard it snap and then tried to start the car and it started right away and ran it for around a hour and did not die on me.. so reckon that is all it was...lol... Thanks for your help
