I'm pretty sure I read that it's 1000 max. I wouldn't do it. It's almost as cheap to rent a uhaul depending on the distance.

 

Unofortunately the smallest uhaul truck from LA->Portland is $1100, as opposed to from Portland->LA $300. MOving out of LA to a smaller city costs a fortunate with any of the rental truck people
