Any idea why the rear defroster does not work? When I push the defroster button on the instrument panel, the light comes on, indicating it's on. but the snow/frost does not melt.

Also, how do you remove the felt panel on the rear side so I can at least take a look at the connection going to the rear window, so I can see if there is an open or a short?

Once in the proper section there is an icon "new thread" to the left.

Do you have a volt meter to do some testing on the defroster? I'd start with the relay and the inputs/outputs.
