Hello,

My 98 V6 Accord is shifting hard and came up with the code P0753 (Shift Solenoid A). From what I could find online it looked like that was for the Automatic Transmission Solenoid. I'm not sure that is correct now. I just found this forum and I'm really hoping someone can help me find where Shift Solenoid A is and if I replaced the correct part. The car recently started shifting hard and I thought I was trusting the codes when I replacd this part. This was the main video I used for the replacement. Also, my part did not come with a gasket and it did not have one originally, is this something I should be concerned about?

Did you try your Control solenoid?

Either way with the age of these cars and also the continuing issue of the transmissions for this model and age, you may just want to get a new transmission or used
