1998 accord sedan v6 rim change
Welcome!
Yeah, you can actually go to TireRack.com & put in your car's information. It'll show you some choices for rims as well as the compatible tire sizes so things won't rub & your speedometer will be OK.

So all the wheels will fit it just depends on the tire size as for good clearance? The 16" rims have 225/60/16 on them and the clearance to the shock is less than an inch is that ok? Oh yeah I forgot to tell you I'm at 289,000 and other than a tranny slip every once in a while runs great!

No, the fit depends on several things. But there ARE 17" & 18" wheels that will fit with the correct tires. There's also a lot of 17" and even 16" wheels that will NOT fit.
Bolt-circle (obviously) has to be correct.
Center-hole diameter.
Offset has to be correct or something will rub on inboard or outboard side of the wheel or tire.
Then the tire-size comes into the picture in order to make the overall tread-diameter match what the car needs.

They should bolt right up, with no problem.
All this talk about offset & center-hole diameter, is what you have to worry about when you're trying to fit aftermarket wheels of any random brand. Honda OEM wheels will fit, especially since they're from the same year. In fact those were probably dealer/optional for your 4-door car.

The 205/60tire has an section Width of 8.1 and overall diameter of 25.7mm
The 225/60/16 tires youv'e meantioned have a S Width of 8.9mm and overall tire size of 26.6mm, so watch and test fit before you put them on to stay.
