Exclamation 1998 Gas Leak

I have a 1998 Honda Accord LX and I have a small gas leak under the car. I do not possess jack stands and am unsure of it's true origin, but suspect it's a gas line leak.
My question is 2 parts:
1) Is it safe to drive while there is a small leak that drips around the middle of the car?
2) Is it plausible to fix it myself? I possess limited tools and exp of only doing brakes. Is it also possible to have a temporary fix to buy me enough time to have a more permanent solution?

It would be helpful if anyone could give me estimates of the cost of their solutions(including if you suggest pro fix)

Thank you in advance.

No way anyone can be certain this is safe. A spark might cause a fire w/ hgih consequences. It needs to be fixed asap.

If you're determined to DIY, you'll need 4 jackstands (or two jackstands and ramps) to elevate the car enough to access the fuel tank. You'll need to get a shop manual. Check Onlne Manuals DIY for a download or buy one online.

Small possibility the leak could be at the fuel level sender. There is an access plate that can be removed to inspect this site.

Check fuel lines for corrosion pits and leaks. New fuel line/s may be necessary.

good luck
