Default 1999 Honda Accord Clutch/Master/Slave Cylinder Problem

I have a 1999 honda accord. When I am driving and then at a stop with the clutch depressed for a while if I try to put it in first gear it will not go. Then I check all gears and it will not go into any gear. I then let off the clutch when I depress the clutch again it goes straight to the floor. I turn my car off and then on again then the clutch appears to be fine and I can put it in first gear and drive. What kind of problem do you think this is? Someone told me it might be my slave cylinder? I need to take it to a shop but I want to make sure I don't get ripped off, thanks.

sounds like a bad slave cylinder, probably bypassing by what you described is happening. just keep a shop from replacing the clutch first, make sure they properly diagnose the system
