Default 1999 Honda Accord starting/idling issue

I have a 1999 Accord that is having issues starting and does not idle at all. Once it does start I can keep it running using the accelerator but once I try to let it idle it cuts off. This all started when my daughter jumped off the 4wheeler with the Honda not running. Any advice?

Is it a 4cyl or a V6 engine?

After it starts, the difficulty keeping it running sounds like the IACV and idle-control. But give us a better description of the difficulty in getting it started.

Check this thread about setting the base idle.

Hesitates when trying to start. I have to press gas pedal to get gas. Once it starts I have to keep pedal pushed to keep it running.

Is the check engine light turning on when the engine is running? Do you have a tool to scan for codes? Most auto parts stores do this as a free service, but it sounds like you are able to drive the car.

Was anything done to the car before this started happening?
