I've just had this accord 1999 4 door sedan 2.0L automatic 4 speed and just did 80,000kms. I noticed that when my car is idle and the aircondition is running in certain period of time. The idling starts to play horribly, it only happens when I hear the aircondition does a certain click sound but once its done doing its thing the idling goes proper again.

Also, if I turned off the aircondition the car's idling is okay.

Another peculair occurence is when my car is running or at least in Drive while the aircondition is running these problem never happen.

Has anyone experienced this problem before?

 

I've noticed that on my 98 5sp Accord, the computer keeps the engine from stalling but the rpm drop is noticable. My uncle always said, use A/C only on highways when you have a four banger as it A/C takes quite a bit of power from that engine. With a V6 or V8 you usually don't even know when the A/C is running.
