Is ac compressor idler bearing in clutch pulley making noise? If not, just unplug the compressor and no more AC engagement. If bearing is damaged, you would need to pull compressor and repair bearing to enable.

Replacement w/ idler pulley will probabaly require pulling compressor also.

Sometimes simpler to repair than bypass. What are your symptoms?

good luck

Dual belts would usually be one belt driving PS and second belt driving AC compressor and alternator, w/ adjustment achieved by setting alternator position.

If that is your arrangement, then remove old belt, wrap a heavy string around drive and Alt pulleys (bypassing compressor) and tie tightly to define new belt length. This should be done w/ alternator is mid-lower range of adjustment. This will allow slack for installation and room for take-up to tighten the belt.

Go to parts store and get a belt to match the string tied length. Install and tighten belt w/ alternator position adjustment. Lock adjustement nut.

Moved your post to correct forum.

good luck
