I have a '99 Accord LX 4 cyl Vtech..It has 300,000 kms and its never given me a problem til this week..I drove it into my garage and turned it off..came back a couple of days later and it was extremely hard to start..kicking as if it wanted too but no go and then I tried a bit later and it started and ran perfectly.. I didn't drive it anywhere .. came back the next day and it refused to start..I've checked for spark at the plugs and it has spark...I removed the plugs and cleaned and set the gap on them..it still won't start..maintence req'd light goes out when key is turned on and pump stops running .. its not flooded..but no start...

I need ideas as to what to look for...

Help..???

 

Can you verify fuel or lack of? If you have some carb cleaner, open the butterfly, spary some in the TB...try to start engine.

 

UpDate.. I tried my car last evening and after a bit of coaxing..it started and ran perfectly..I took it out for a 10 mile drive and it worked as if it were new.. Shut it off and re-started it many times and not a problem...sighs..its hard to fix something when it runs like this..I'll try it again this morning ..fingers crossed..lol..perhaps it healed itself...what a car...
