Default 2000 accord a/c vent not blowing through main vents

I have a 2000 Accord. The a/c work fine except it will not come out of the center two (main) vents. It will come out of the floor and both side vents. Also the defroster works. I have tried it on every setting. It appears the direction door from floor to face vent will not function. Does anyone have any experience or advice?

Worked on the a/c more this morning. After pulling the glovebox and radio out and checking a lot of wires, I looked on the drivers side floor right where the a/c dumps out for the foot vent.

They actuator to control the airflow was sticking. It has a some metal linkage that seemed to just be binding up. I worked it with my hand while someone else cycled the a/c mode between feet and floor. It appears that the actuator was gunked up and is now working properly. It would have been a super quick fix it that were the first place I started.

Hope it helps.
