Also keep in mind that Denso is owned and operated by Toyota. And like Sean mentioned is an OEM supplier to both Toyota and Honda.
We have the same issue in the Toyota world...either Denso or Toyota parts only. Quality DOES matter.
Another thing to keep in mind, is that if Denso is having parts made in China, they will have to meet Denso standards. The Chinese can do that, but they have to be told that. I'm sure Denso won't let quality fall to normal Chinese standards.

Ordered a set of 6 Denso coils...

I was thinking as NGK is a well respected company and OEM choice of spark plugs, I assume they also have quality ignition coils. Denso costs a little more though but I finally set on Denso coils. Less then $200 for a set of 6 isn't bad anyway.
